Welcome to Pygmy Posse

For Sale

Many of the goats we have meet the qualifications to be registered with NPGA - National Pygmy Goat Association or AGS - American Goat Society. Kids do not have to be registered to be wonderful pets.

We test our herd for CAE and CL and Johne's Diseases. We keep our herd clean of these diseases so that we can offer you kids that will be able to live long, healthy lives.

We also now have Purebred Nigerian Dwarf Goats most of which meet the qualifications to be registered with AGS - The American Goat Society. They are healthy, loving animals, raised with love and good care.

All of our goats are raised in a clean, healthy, loving environment and are kept updated on their vacinations. Their hoofs are kept trimmed and the babies are disbudded. If you are interested in our goats or have questions please call us at (831)663-0747 or e-mail us.

At this time, we do not have any goats available. Please check back with us after September of this year.

We are taking a baby goat break for now. It is not an easy task bringing goat babies up. We are sure you can understand that it can also be very heart breaking at times to raise babies, especially when they leave us. We do not have babies available at this time. Please check back with us after September of this year.

Goats are herd animals and we strongly believe they should not be kept alone in a pen. When they leave our farm, they leave their mothers, siblings and the entire world they have known. Please keep this in mind when you take a goat home with you from any facility.

Another thing to keep in mind is that dogs are predator and goats are prey animals. Dogs and goats are natural enemies. We have had many people call us who did not know this and sadly found out too late. We love our dogs dearly, but we never leave them alone with our goats unless the dog is a trained and proven guardian livestock dog.

Gender: Tiffany with her mom
Birthday: May 5, 2006

"Tiffany" just seems to be saying "I love you Mom" in this photo. We want to share the picture with those who visit our site. These does love their babies and we have a great deal of respect and admiration for how they protect and care for their kids. We always keep that in mind when handling their births and their eventual separation from their kids, when they go to their new homes. We are as kind and as possible to the creatures that we care for.
